Lunchtime Prayer

Alright, I just have to share this with ya’ll. When the Kindergartners eat lunch, they have a routine where they get their lunch trays out and wash their hands. The teachers put the food on their trays, and before they eat, they have to say their lunchtime prayer together as a class. They have to put their hands together, and then they say (although most of them shout):

Thankful, thankful, we are thankful. For our food, for our food. And our many blessings, and our many blessings.

Thank you mom, thank you dad, thank you teacher for our food. Have a good lunch.

And hearing them say it is absolutely hilarious because it’s like a song/chant. I wish we could record it and put it on YouTube… the world needs to see this!
